The Cleveland Browns will be without their starting running back, James Conner, for the second straight game on Sunday after he was hurt in Thursday night’s win over the New Orleans Saints.

Quarterback Johnny Manziel (knee), running back Isaiah Crowell (ankle), tight end Jordan Cameron (knees) and wide receiver Travis Benjamin (hamstring) all missed the game.

Coach Hue Jackson said Sunday the starters won’t play on Sunday against the Carolina Panthers.

The Browns will open the season against the Washington Redskins on Oct. 2.

The team has been without injured starters at quarterback for the last four games.
